The succeeding posts will mainly be talking about a brief tutorial on how to play the game. Part 1 will be discussing about how to get the cards. Part 2  ( A and B) will be talking about the anatomy of a card and Part 3 ( A and B ) will talk about the mechanics of playing the game.

 How to acquire cards:

The very basic question one would ask is “how and/or where can I buy Cardfight!! Vanguard official products?”. Well fortunately, Bushiroad, the official distributor company of Cardfight Vanguard has a list of all the registered legal and official retail stores from across the globe that offer to sell Cardfight!! Vanguard products, which we will link here. However, you may opt to buy and/or order such products from online shopping sites such as ebay or amazon or from sites that specifically sell cards such as ideal808 or strikezoneonline.

Types of CFV card products that Bushiroad offer
(Note: We will not be posting prices of the products below due to inconsistent and unstable rates)

A booster set is a set of cards that is directly linked or chronologically inclined to the animated show wherein a number of cards are sold by box. Each box contains 30 packs and each pack contains 5 cards (1 of which is a rare card (R) ) summing up to contain a total of 150 cards per box . Card rarity ratio (in a set )from cheap to expensive is  60 Commons (C), 22  Rares (R),  12 Double Rare (RR), 8 Triple Rares (RRR), and 12 Special Parallels (SP). Each box will guarantee to contain 3 RRR cards, 5 RR cards, 30 R cards, and 112 common cards and in every box, there will be a 50% chance of containing an SP card. This type of product is recommended for more advanced players, albeit is still viable for rookies.

Each trial deck contains 50 cards, some of which are trial deck exclusives and cannot be found in regular packs. A trial deck also comes with (1) paper playmat, and (1) Beginner’s guide. This type of product is recommended for beginners or newbies.

And those are just some of the basic card products of CFV that Bushiroad offers. It is highly recommended that beginners should choose to buy a trial deck when first learning about the game (for a formal and feasible instruction of introduction). However one may opt not to, and go buy booster packs instead. Either way, one would be able to have a momentary grasp of the power that lies beyond...
